11X OSUT

All 18X/Rep 63 National Guard Special Forces candidates start their training at the Maneuver Center of Excellence on Fort Benning, GA attending the 22 week Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) 11B Infantry One Station Unit Training (OSUT) which includes Basic Combat Training (Boot Camp) and Advanced Individual Training (AIT).

Airborne

After graduating from 11X OSUT all 18X/REP 63 Special Forces Candidates attend Basic Airborne Training at Fort Benning, GA for three weeks prior to shipping to Fort Bragg, NC for Special Forces Assessment and Selection attendance.

SFPC

In order to become a Special Forces Soldier, you must complete several rigorous training courses. The Special Forces Preparation Course (SOPC) is a 30-day program that focuses on fitness training and honing land navigation techniques.

SFAS

Special Forces Assessment and Selection (SFAS) is designed to test your survival skills, and places an even stronger emphasis on intense physical and mental training. This is considered the first proper phase of Special Forces training which continues onto the Special Forces Qualification Course (SFQC).
